Pharmaceutical production building, Denmark
KMG was appointed at the tender stage to complete the civil and structural design for a pharmaceutical production building in Denmark and to review the construction stage design produced by Danish contractors. The client, Bavarian Nordic, is a fully integrated company focusing on the development, manufacturing and commercialisation of life-saving vaccines. Our civil and structural engineering design scope included the inspection of an extension to a pharmaceutical production building.

KMG provided full architectural and engineering design services for a site-wide strategic plan for Henderson’s food distribution complex Our team worked from a base in Northern Ireland to complete the refurbishment and updating of the distribution centre. Our multifaceted team went to Northern Ireland to conduct the design and construction work, which was divided into three phases and consisted of three full detailed applications.

KMG acted as the architects and structural engineers on the Warner Bros. studios tour “The Making of Harry Potter”. This unique attraction explores the cinematic history of the Harry Potter series of films and exhibits the wonderful and creative work involved in producing the films. The walking tour takes visitors behind the scenes and showcases the huge array of sets, costumes, props and details of the special effects and animatronics that made these films so hugely popular all over the world. Facilities include a seated theatre, a café and retail areas and administration offices.

KMG provided civil and structural engineering design for an iconic 15-storey “flat-iron” building in the centre of Manchester. The 12,000-m2 office building has an uninterrupted full-height glazed structure and occupies the entire site footprint. It includes three underground basement-level car parks. The architectural design was by 5plus Architects.
